Annemiek van Vleuten extends overall lead at La Route de France 2010

Nederland Bloeit are enjoying a very successful La Route de France with two consecutive stage wins and Annemiek van Vleuten in orange.

Marriane Vos won stage 3 yesterday in a sprint finish, beating Ina Yoko-Teutenberg (HTC Columbia) to the line. Annemiek van Vleuten came 3rd.

Today Annemiek van Vleuten won stage 3 ahead of  Sara Mustonen (Hitec Products) and Elizabeth Armistead (Cervelo) extending her lead in the overall classification.

Sarah Duster (Cervelo) is currently in 2nd place on the general classification 21 seconds down, whilst Olga Zabelinskaia (Safi Pasta Zara) is lying 3rd 28 seconds down. Currently only seconds seperate the top 8 in the general classification, however this will all change after tomorrow’s 24.3 km individual time trial.
