This weekend brings the third round of the UCI Women’s World Cup series, the Damesronde van Drenthe. The race takes place on Saturday in Drenthe, in the Netherlands.

The 135km race is largely flat, but this does not mean it will be easy. Wind, cobbles and one short sharp climb make the course worthy of a World Cup title.

Will current leader, Marianne Vos (Nederland Bloeit), manage to hold her lead and pull off a first time home victory. Time will only tell!
