RIP Carla Swart

Today is a sad day, as we mourn the loss of Carla Swart;
A young women,
A talented cyclist,
A driven individual,
A vibrant person,
A teammate,
A friend,
A sister,
A daughter,
but above all, a child of God!
As my manager Roy Gershow said, “In a Rapper Drake song. ‘Everybody dies but not everybody lives’. I never knew her well and we only spoke occasionally but Carla lived.”
Carla’s presence on earth will be sorely missed, but her place with God in Heaven is taken and there is peace in knowing that Carla really did live.
Rest in peace Carla.
